Started putting bits back on the XR after a few repairs and some maintenance. Gone to do the valve clearances and can't find my feeler gauges  I'll have to go to halfauds and do it tomorrow now.
I hope I didn't leave them somewhere silly - like the crank case...

WPMOT... in addition to the head gasket needing to be replaced, the front of the Pan exhaust collector has disentegrated. Athos previously did a sterling job of repairing the rear of this, but this time I think it's perhaps time to bend over and get shafted for new stainless system or parts thereof... cock.
I dare say the k/s shotgun I gave the blind bint in the Merc yesterday did little to prolong it's life

WPMOT........almost pi**ing myseft on the bike today .Needed a comfort stop so hung on until i reached the toilets at Fernhurst....LOCKED !. Headed back to Haselmere, busting now Bollocks !!...out of order  Finally made it to a petrol station...AAAAHHHHHHH Bliss

 Cos, with modern electronic machines the programme time is led by how dirty your clothes are and the size of load you put in
or..... in the case of your machine the chinese didnt know how to count that high
seriously though, programme times have got longer and longer due to the energy ratings, longer programme allows for less energy and better wash results
You could always hand wash
