98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road. The other 2% made it home |

Could be worse - you could be paying £85 a month for Denplan cover
That's for the family as we can't get an NHS dentist in our area. _________________ Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window! |

That's really sad, after all they've been through and all the effort they've put in.
Crazy overheads and less footfall I guess. _________________ It's not the speed of life that bothers me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Certainly is. I'm a terrible sleeper but a friend took his life a few weeks ago due to years of M.E and insomnia. _________________ It's not the speed of life that bothers me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Had to use the XT for work today, as the car was in for an MOT..
Rode up to my garage after work, side stand down step off # stand flicks up ......... TIMBER .......... XT now has a banana shaped clutch lever ...........Least the bike landing on top of me saved any further damage ... _________________

WPMOT... East Sussex Council's solicitors have rejected my wheel claim as they say they have carried out their duty of care adequately, bullshit, they inspected the road one month before, noted the pothole yet did not cone it, or mark it. They have not heard the last from me _________________

Last night coming home from work the road was closed due to a "car fire".....apparently the people in the queue of traffic had been waiting about half an hour. So I decided to turn around and go the long way home, grumbling about my being inconvenienced.
This morning on my way in, I passed the scene of the "fire".....fcuk me!!!!! Probably the most horrific accident scene I have ever witnessed. It looks like a car had taken a left hander too fast, run wide and hit a tree on the opposite side of the road...I have no idea of the make or model of car as the whole thing was about half the length ot used to be, and the fire was so intense that there was nothing but bare metal left... no tyres, seats, window trim, glass, dashboard, steering wheel. Rumour has it there was a fatality
The good part, I suppose, was that I stayed on late last night for about half an hour to have a drink with the staff. Had I not stayed on I would have been a lot closer to the scene of the accident....
Just one of those moments that makes you think fate is definitely on your side, at least for the time being |
