Biting into you probably didn't do the spiders any favours either Wink Smile

Hope you gws... I found a huge one in my garden a while back, poisonous or otherwise it looked like it wanted to eat me!!

WMMST... excuse to use my lathe to make some parts for a pal's Triumph bobber project. two seat spring supports in stainless (I think from the weight they will knock 5mpg off the economy of the bike Laughing ) and a pair of mild steel lugs to attach the rear mudguard to sissy bar.

Came up with a genius method of driving the cross slide to get a good finish on the taper - cordless drill and socket driver bit as my lathe has only powered surface and face feed. Cool Very Happy

And here's one of the Seat spring supports being offerred up...

The other lugs were welded to the sissy bar to attach the rear mudguard...

250 miles of riding in the sun, a not surprising too short a stop at Oakdene, making a last minute decision stop at Box and running into a few folks (thanks for the Pepsi Slippery, sorry I rode off without saying cheerio) followed up with no coffee with the Capt. Smile
