If you are coming up from the south, not on the A3, you now turn left in Hindhead, not right. _________________ "My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, anyplace, anytime. Strange.....I have spent most of my life in liphook just a couple of miles away so know those roads like the back of my hand. Not sure how where or why you would now turn left instead of right? No matter just considered it a strange thing to say knowing the roads as well as I do |

I think I was coming up on the A286 into Hindhead. According to the GPS I should have turned right to head up to the A3: that road is now a dead end. You now have to turn left to head on to a roundabout, take the first exit into the tunnel. _________________ "My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, anyplace, anytime. +1 more. Never nice. Happy to advise should you need it, but of course hope that you don't need my views. Good luck. _________________ An open mouth is a straight line to the mind.

I shipped my racing bike (push bike not motor - I wish!) over from the UK and it got damaged in transit!
One of the teeth was bent so badly on the big chain ring that I just ended up removing it. Not ideal! It runs ok ish on one less tooth but I really really ought to buy a new ring. It's shimano ultregra groupset so that ain't going to be cheap.
Given that I bought the blasted thing second hand whilst on holiday in Italy (seems like a bit of a whim but I had to walk past the bike shop everyday on the way back to my romeB&B in Rome and the price was just too good )
A new groupset will probably cost more than I paid for the bike!

The last time I needed to buy a new chainring it was cheaper (and quicker) to buy a whole new chainset .
And no, it wasn't in 1970 for those about to post . _________________ So many roads, so little time. |
