Wmmst; seeing HCMS complete the London Tri today, his time was only very marginally longer than us three ladies took to complete it in
We all did good but HCMS should be very proud, great effort
Being cheered on and getting great encouragement was really lovely _________________

I am still worn out and didn't get up until 10:00am and all I did was watch as you say great effort by Vanessa, Kate and Rana and especially Pete, for a guy that naturally sinks in water and has never swum long distance it was a super human effort.
Great to see Waki, Paula, Southern Speed, Markie Mark and Madam leading the
Not forgetting some very generous sponsors from this place...... You know who you are
All in all a great day and great effort _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

Why would you want to be friends with yourself?
I searched on your email and found you.
I cba with facebook, I have an account, but it's pretty much locked down because all manner of fucking idiots have zero respect for my privacy. Sadly, I am related to some of these retards.
Q. "why don't you let people write on your 'wall'?"
A. because wankers like you would post random unmoderated shit on there, that's why. Do you really think I want to have you post up that we were out on the lash until 3am on a skool night when I turn up for work looking like I've been dug up twice already and managed to feign the old "dodgy curry" excuse for chundering in my desk bin twice successfully until a colleague read on the book of fail that we were out getting smashed?
Q. "why don't you accept tags on pics of you?"
A. because i like to choose what content is shared with the people who are fiends with me on facebook that includes, colleagues, elderly relatives, nosey relatives, people I just don't trust, shit stirrers etc. I don't want you to tag me in a picture you post of a vagina so that when Aunt Mabel looks on my profile and searches for pics of me she sees a vag. You may find the word "cunt" amusing, I do too...However, Aunt Mabel would probably die of shock- she still has a carbon copy of the letter of complaint written to Penguin books about them publishing that word in print in D.H. Lawrence's Lady Chatterley's Lover.
Q. "Why does it not show that you were at 'some random place in Europe' with me even though I tagged you?".
A.Because, quite simply, I live on my own and I'd rather that my whereabouts, specifically when I am out of the country were not shared on your completely public profile. You trust people to not misuse information you put on the web, you are stupid... This also goes for those people who do not remove exif location information from photographs when they post pictures online. Useful to know where that view was, but please, you nobs, not when you are taking pictures of my posessions in my home...

Apparently by sending my e-mail details, they can tell me who's on facebook from my contacts list. Just did it out of curiosity tbh.....don't think i'll bother , especially after reading your Q & A's _________________ Just call me Waki. |

Never done that myself as I am not a big fan of giving 3rd party places my email password.
If you are using an email client, such as outlook it won't work anyway since your contacts would be stored locally on your computer rather than your email company server. _________________

Handed my notice in at lullingstone today. Been there 8 years, never had time off for sick or any unauthorised absence. But due to the wage cuts and trebling of work load I have decided to jack it in. Gonna miss the place. _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

They cut my wages by quite a bit earlier on in the year as in my average wage packet went down to £432 a month and they reduced our hours per week by four hours. I also had to make two trips in to work each day (unlock and lock up which was fine) however due to fuel prices getting a bit silly has started to make the job fuel expensive, as to which they also removed the fuel allowances. They have trebled the workload (just look at the size of the new car park and how often it is filled).
The final straw however was KCC spending £200,000 on a new toilet block to allow the public to have a piss/shit when the visitor centre is closed and the park is still open. This works out that for an extra 3.5hrs a day for up to 4 months of the year (when the gates are closing late) people can use the loo. BTW after 5 o'clock you get on the busiest day only about 30 cars in the car park, but the average is about 5-6 cars after 5.00. The park "service" has now become so income focused that IMO it is detrimental to the parks as a whole and to the park itself.
I will miss the place very very much. But on the plus side I can now walk the dog down there for leisure.
The smiling part is to do with my boss taking it well, my boss is excellent, and has been an absolute pleasure to work with and has been a great role model to me, so I was worried about letting him down.
I arranged for us to have a chat this morning, walked through the door and pull the letter out of my pocket, as to which he said "your not resigning are you" I replied "yes" and he called me a "fucker". jokingly of course. But he understood as about 9/10 wardens have handed in our notice this year. (they have replaced 8 of them but nobody wanted one of the parks, which is one I have been covering for about 9 months).

I got a job as a vet nurse a couple of months back. Which pays more!!! And also have 150 sheep plus lambs as a business, (which is doing surprisingly well) so if anyone wants any lamb let me know. _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

Business or pleasure?
Good for you in resolving your work woes, many of us, myself included don't address this part of our lives, which is silly considering how much of our time is spent at work, travelling to/from and thinking about it..! _________________

Whenever I hear "Give Peace a Chance" peace (or peas) is the thing furthest from my mind!
It is only marginally better than "Imagine" so it is pretty awful. _________________ So many roads, so little time. |

WMMST and most of the weekend, 400 dry miles through 9 counties, much hoonage and
Found a great B&B in the middle of Stratford upon Avon with secure bike parking (in locked garage attached to the house with the owner's two-wheeled toy). lovely people, clean en-suite room, comfy bed, 10 min walk to the river and town centre, and fantastic organic breakup with local produce, all for £60 for the room per night. Happy to recommend and will definitely be returning to Appletrees, details on http://www.thebikerguide.co.uk/bikerfriendlywarwickshire.html

Unexpected excursion on the tractor (god, I love my bike!!!) and met up with the Surrey Bikesafe bunch at an unexpected visit to Box Hill. Managed unexpectedly to book myself on a Bikesafe course on 14th Oct.
Yes, I will be taking the tractor out even if it's raining, and yes, it has only had two minor sploshes with a bucket of soapy water since I bought it. And yes, I DO nod at bike riders of almost all flavours, even when astride a Harley. Have to say I don't make a big effort if the approaching rider isn't even bothering to wear gloves, but nod happily at plastics and trailies and even scooter riders and L-plates, and don't wait for them to nod first (unless I happen to be mid-manoevre at the time).
And wasn't the weather nice earlier today. That made me smile too. |
