I am not sure if it's the same incident, but one of my colleagues from SERV ( http://www.servssl.org.uk )delivered replacement blood stock to the Surrey air Ambulance on Saturday after they'd attended a motorcycle accident that despite best efforts was a fatality. The motorcyclists chances would have been even less if KSSAA didn't carry 'Golden hour' blood (as they have been since February this year - Supported by the Henry Surtees Trust & SERV).
Ride safe people.
