u need to get used to the fact that neck is very narrow for a 5 strings, but overall they are great, in craftmanship, sound and the pickups are very clever, there's a dummy coil at the back you know for hum cancelling and they are wired like a strat giving you 5 positions and all them in-between lovely sounds from a jazz to a precision, and they got this alembic type of single neck pick up sound that is just amazing
oh... and this one was custom ordered and signed by Paul Reed Smith... _________________ BANNED FOR BEING A TWAT!

Nice, I'm used to a thin neck 'cos of the Jazz but I find it hard to get used to the distance between strings at the neck on the guitars I've tried. Always fancied a Wal 5, just not the £1500 price tag!! Noticed yours is signed too....very nice. _________________ bhavatu sabba mangalam |

wot's made me smile today is the description that one of my very best mate gave me of getting on his new bike (zx6r) after a couple of years of two wheeled absence - ever read an email where you couldnt get a word in edgeways? laff, I nearly pee'd!
And he's just joined the forum - AIM-Drummer
Good 2 see you back with your addiction Ewar (-long story, involves a man called Ed, an old tv programme, lots of beer and the question 'what would the name Edward Woodward sound like if you took out all the D's?) |

What made me smile last Monday was the fact that being a bit of a boy scout and reasonable at forward thinking on Sunday night at about midnight I decided to look for a small plastic disc that I new I had somewhere - after a hour and a bollocking about coming to bed from the other half I gave up looking. Next day we are all riding into Brands and what is the first thing that happens - I get handed a small red plastic disc to put under the side stand. |
