No... the pond is designed in such a way that heron's can't get a footing, and the fish were in my opinion too big for herons to take, plus there was so many gone
The upsetting thing is the pond was built for Gupps' dad when he was alive, he was disabled and would spend hours at his pond, the fish were brought for his dad by Gupps and his brothers and sisters etc |
Hey - at least he had the joy of them whilst he was alive. It was a lovely gesture and obviously well appreciated. What has happened now is really awful but it can never spoil the original purpose and Gupps' dad's real-time enjoyment of a very special present.
Is it worth hoping that the theives had a similarly noble purpose in mind ...or even that, if the theives only purpose was to sell the fish on for a quick profit ...that the purchasers ultimately will do something as good with their purchase...?? |

Contacted the Insurance co today to inform of trip to France tomorrow and re weekend in france in Oct.
Whilst on the phone i mentioned that i had not received my proof of alarm installation back, "oh we sent that back to you on the 29th June" I replied, " Really, when i spoke to you on the 11th July you stated that the co had had a problem with there computer system and that you were a little bit behind in the system and that it would be sent to me asap" " I can assure you it was sent on the 29th June". "So did you post it yourself then". " Er no, but it says so on the computer" the conversation was ended soon after, i just couldn't be bothered with the hassle!
Luckily i have three copies but it aint the point and when dealing with dickheads like that who are reading from a script and not listening to what there being told; you know you have made the wrong choice with an insurer! _________________ Speed Limits are Minimums and remember Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one

In my opinion banks are the worst for this. It seems no-one these days can think "out of the box" (steady Al ) and accomodate an unscripted issue _________________ So many roads, so little time. |

I'm feeling really feeling guilty about our useless production director, who made my life a misery for the past 2 years, and stuck me in a corner away from my other workmates and ended my running of the department, because I questioned what he was doing. I took personal revenge by doing something to a personal item of his, and I feel ashamed that I did it, even though I did know his reign was ending ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |
