The bright spark at work who suggested making staff pay several hundred £'s a year for on-site parking.
If the 3 year pay freeze, threat of redundency and reduced redundency payouts wasn't enough they are now seriously considering this. great way of keep staff morale up, nice one well done _________________ -------------------------------- |

I don't want/need one, but just as a matter of interest (pardon the pun) I asked for quotes for loans from a few places after being shocked at the rates that a certain Triumph dealer were offering. Apparently my credit rating is shite... ffs. I earn a reasonably good wage, and don't have any outstanding credit card debt, loans, finace, mortgage arrears, ccj's etc etc. How on earth do they come up with this scoring stuff? Are they only interested in high risk? _________________

Check experian and equifax and ask for your credit rating/score. I had to do this several years ago at my flat as the previous owners owned money left, right and centre to what seemed at the time the whole planet. I received nasty letters from debt collectors acting on behalf of catalogues, T-mobile, the local council etc etc. You could find that your address has been mistakenly blacklisted, that's what happened to me. A few letters and phone calls cleared the trail and it's now back to 'excellent'! _________________ Mini Cooper S |

Believe it nor not m8 its probably because you have no outstanding credit at the minute. Your credit rating is based in your abilitry to repay (your earnings) and your history of repaying. So if you have had to repay anyone a loan etc for a while then ypou have no history or repaying and are then a greater risk. Perverse but that's how itr works _________________ Opinions are like assholes...... Ahhh Fcuk it - YOUR WRONG !!!

I have experienced that only too well, some of the useless twats I used to work with who still have jobs because they all sucked c**k and got pissed with the boss. I got made redundant for being bloody good at my job and working too hard.....not being a useless, drug taking, drunken tosser doesn't seem to pay!!
I'm sure she does know.
Don't let them get to you |
It got a lot worse she bought my equivalent (the one who's crap) a box of chocolates for just doing the part of her job that everyone does. Have to laugh or I'd go mad lol never mind wouldn't want to be a favourite anyway

Finding a fox in the garden at 4 O'clock this afternoon. Decided to be nice to a fox for a change and called the dogs off. It had big holes in it's side full of maggots caught it, put it in a box and called the RSPCA.
They came and shot it. Blood all over the drive.
That's the last time I call the dogs off! _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

Listening to that arrogant bitch Naomi Campbell's testimony at the War Crimes Trial. Still on the bright side she seems to have destroyed her top lip with cosmetic surgery. She is one horrible piece of work. _________________ "Those who understand compound interest are destined to collect it.

i've never found anything remotely appealing about her in the slightest, physically or personality wise. I've no idea what the 'fuss' was ever about. _________________

Waiting in all morning for the insurance certificate to show up for my new bike so that it can be registered, taxed etc and it never showed up, seems some numpty at the insurance company did not send it out Royal Mail special delivery as promised... After reading the riot act over it all of a sudden they were able to email it... yesterday when I asked they said they couldn't oh well. Sorted now, and the time was not entirely wasted this morning as I got some tidying done in the garage _________________

Being told that my start time for Ascot tomorrow is actually 7.30am and not 8am as I had expected. Ok so 30 minutes earlier is not so much of a big deal .... except I am working tonight as well and wont be home until 3.30/4am tomorrow morning.... I really could have used that extra 30 minutes sleep.
Now trying to decide if it will be worth me going to sleep at all or if it will make me even more tired! Shall I just load up on Red Bull and stay awake????? |
